Week 10 Update‼️๐ธ
It's time for the last and final blog!! It has been 10 weeks since I started on my journey to learn Korean and it has been amazing. This week I learned some more phrases as shown and I also worked on my presentation. I don't really have any favorite phrases this week because I liked all of them. But I will share some of my top favorites.
“์ง์ ๊ฐ์” = "Let's go home"
“์ฌ์” = "It's easy"
“์ ์ฌ์ด” = "Take some rest"
“์ฌ๋ฐ์ด” = "It's fun"
“๋ง์๊ฒ ๋์ธ์” = "Enjoy your meal"
“์ด์ญํ ํด” = "Work hard"
Since this is the end of our project, I want to talk about a few things. I am so very very glad that I chose this topic because it was so worth it. I am so surprised that I am still continuing this because to be honest, I am the type of person to lose interest in something really quickly and pursue something new. I like that I am still continuing and will continue in the future because I really do care about this language. This project has made me realize just how much I enjoyed learning Korean. It is unique in its own ways. The writing system, “ํ๊ธ” is beautiful and really easy to learn. It is even easier than English in my opinion.
Learning Korean has broadened my perspective and appreciate other cultures, along with my own. There are so many aspects that our cultures share with each other and this project has helped me realize that. Some of the words in Korean are the same as the words in Bangla, pronunciation and everything. I guess that is why I find it easier to pronounce some of the words.
I have several intangible things to show from this experience. I acquired knowledge about a whole new culture and its people. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and in the process learned about new things that I wasn't aware of in the past. I also learned more about myself. I am very hardworking about the things I truly want. If I am really focused on something, I will do my absolute best and give it my all. Seeing how I didn't get tired of Korean, I can see myself pursuing this language in the long run. I enjoyed everything about this project. Ms. Andriano was a great motivator as she would constantly give me ideas on how to improve and hone my skills. I really appreciate her support, so shout out to Ms. A for everything she has done so far for us❤️! I know you will be reading this soon, and I just want to thank you for your hard work, and Chamblee NEEDS more teachers like you!!
This concludes my blog. I want to thank everyone who has supported me during the process. Without them I wouldn't have been able to come this far.
I wish everyone luck, specially those who are trying out new things and expanding their comfort zone. Do not give up, unless you absolutely must. Perfection doesn't matter; what matters is that you have and fun and actually take away the good things from your experiences. I wish everyone the best of luck in the future, you guys are all amazing! ๐
Goodbye~~! ๐ฃ
